Fripp Facts

Fripp Island is a master planned 3,000 acre private, gated community located about 20 miles east of Beaufort, South Carolina. Beaufort County planning restricts the Island to a total of 1850 homes and 400 villas (or condos) at build-out. To the delight of naturalists and wild-life enthusiasts, it is also a nature preserve, home to many animals such as white tailed deer and over 175 species of birds. A manned security gate stands at the entrance to protect the tranquil beauty and privacy of the island.

Fripp Island is best known for the 3 ½  miles of uncrowded, unspoiled Atlantic beaches. Whatever your taste, whether boating, swimming, tennis or a challenging round of golf on one of our award winning golf courses, you will find it here. In addition to shopping and dining, the island offers activities for the whole family, such as biking, kayaking and fishing to name a few.
